About Us

APAC Safety and Edge Protection Supply Inc

APAC Edge Protection was born from a deep-rooted understanding of the construction industry’s challenges. With over 15 years of combined experience in at-heights safety and construction, our team identified a critical need for a more efficient, versatile, and safer edge protection system.

Our system utilizes fewer components to achieve greater coverage, enhancing safety and ease of use for all trades. Tool-less installation on our fencing systems and reduced drilling minimize silica exposure risks, creating a healthier work environment.

We are a progressive company that quickly adapts to new ideas and solutions. As a solution provider, we are committed to meeting your needs and exceeding your expectations. Please explore our website or contact us directly with any questions.

Netting Solutions We provide

Cantilevered debris netting systems are  employed in high-rise construction projects to mitigate the risks associated with falling objects and debris during construction and demolition phases. These systems provide a safe and effective means of containing materials and preventing injuries or property damage.

Key Benefits of Cantilevered Debris Netting Systems in High-Rise Construction:

  • Safety: Protects workers, pedestrians, and nearby property from falling debris.
  • Efficiency: Reduces downtime and increases productivity by minimizing cleanup efforts.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Versatility: Can be adapted to various building heights and configurations.

Typical Applications in High-Rise Construction:

  • Active Construction: typically installed 3 floors below the formwork and relocated every 2-3 floors as the building progresses.
  • Exterior Facade Work: Installed above swing stages and scaffolds during masonry, cladding, or painting to protect the workers from the operations above.
  • Demolition: Containing debris during the deconstruction of concrete structures through chipping and grinding work.

Vertical containment systems are newer to the construction but have been utilized in the demolition world for decades. The evolvement to include vertical debris netting during construction can greatly improve the overall safety of onsite safety operations with workers spread across multiple floors.

Key Benefits of Vertical Netting Systems in High-Rise Construction:

  • Safety: Protects workers, pedestrians, and nearby property from falling debris.
  • Efficiency: Can be installed with up to a 20" offset to allow most construction finishings to be installed without interference from the system installed.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Versatility: Can be adapted to various building heights and configurations.

Typical Applications in High-Rise Construction:

  • Active Construction: Can be installed in coordination with Cantilevered Debris Netting Systems or as a stand alone system to contain construction debris and materials from falling to the public and workers below.
  • Demolition: Containing debris during the deconstruction of concrete structures through chipping and grinding work.
  • Water Mitigation: When using the 70% shade mesh panels, water permeation is limited preventing wind driven rain and snow from entering the building prior to windows being installed, limiting damage on lower floors.

When off the shelf netting options will not work due to the site conditions or timelines, custom netting can be the answer to safety capture falling debris or personnel should the need arise.
